Team Leaders

Leaders form leaders. Our Team Leaders are specifically trained young women to serve as role models for their peers.  They are responsible for the organization, formation and the apostolate of her team and the members on it. They run the weekly meetings and organize the projects.

Meet Challenge Mount St. Michael Team Leaders:

Liz Abide - 5th Grade Team
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Abide, I am fifteen years old and I am a sophomore in high school.  I have six brothers, but most of them are older than I.  I have lived in Irving, TX about a year and a half. My family and I previously lived in Idaho. I attend the Highlands School in Irving, and am currently in the Drama club at school (for the first time).  My favorite subject in school is History. My favorite sports are soccer and softball.  I am playing both this year for my school.  On my free time I like to read, play the piano  (fast songs are my favorite ), and violin.  I have always enjoyed art, especially drawing.  I draw doodles of horses and cartoon people all over pieces of paper.  So these are the activities I like to do.
I have been involved in Challenge for a year now.  I have always had a lot of fun in Challenge and am very excited about being a team leader this year for my first time.  I also am involved in my Challenge Club at my school, too.  My hope for this year in Challenge is that  we will all have fun in Challenge by learning how to challenge ourselves, others, and the world!

Carol Dodd - 6th & 7th Grade Team Leader

Hello! My name is Carol and I am so
excited to be a Mount St. Michael team leader! I’m 16 years old and a junior at The Highlands School. I was in Challenge for 4 years, and was also a Challenge team leader at my school during my eighth grade. I was an ECYD member for 5 years and have completed fourth stage. I loved my years in Challenge so much and am extremely grateful for the things Challenge taught me: how to be Christ’s real best friend, how to love him through striving to fulfill his dream for my holiness, how to make real friendships that are entered on Christ, and how to build convictions and tell the world about them—all these things became a reality for me through Challenge. Again, I’m so excited to be part of Challenge at Mount St. Michael.

To the 7th and 8th graders: I hope you know you have a sister in Christ praying for you!!

Alexandra Rudolph - 6th & 7th Grade Team Leader

Hello! My name is Alexandra Rudolph, Im currently 16 years old and i am a junior in high school at The Highlands School. I have 5 siblings, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Three of them attend Mount St Michaels and are in 7th grade, 3rd grade and Kindergarten. I was born in raised here in Dallas my entire life!  I have not been in ECYD or in Challenge but my freshman year I felt called to go to Missions in Denver and God took over from there. Within the past year I became a member of Regnum Christi.  Last year at the end of the year I decided to go check out Challenge. I went to the last couple of meetings of one of my friends and decided it would be a lot of fun to be a team leader! When I was asked to be a team leader for Mount St Michaels I was really excited! I am involved in the High School Ministry connected with Mt St Michaels so I am often up there. I love everyone there! I am super excited to bond with my Challenge girls! I know it will be a great year!

Christ the King!
